Microsoft Casual Games Support Team was not able to solve my issue with the Spider Solitaire freezing during the middle of playing about every 20-30 minutes. They said they were forwarding the issue on to the Engineering team and that the Engineering team would be in touch with me. It is now 5 weeks after the issue supposedly got passed on to Engineering and I have not heard from anyone anywhere in Microsoft. I would appreciate help with this issue. You are able to see all the "TRYS" that were suggested by the Games Support Team if you look at the case #Moderator note: PII removed. I actually had dealt with this issue I believe in August and another group of Games Support people tried and failed and they closed the ticket before I was finished with them. The August-Sept support team was much more helpful but still not able to resolve. PLEASE HELP ME.

    Welcome Teresa Smith,

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

I’m sorry to hear that Spider Solitaire is still freezing every 20–30 minutes, especially after you already went through extensive troubleshooting in your previous support cases.

I’d like to avoid asking you to repeat steps you have already tried.

    Could you please confirm:

    • Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11, and what version/build is currently installed? You can check by pressing Windows + R, typing winver, and pressing Enter.
    • When Spider Solitaire freezes, does only the game become unresponsive, or does Windows itself also stop responding?
    • Have you already tried Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Solitaire Collection > Advanced options > Repair during your previous troubleshooting?

If you have not tried “Repair,” please try it first and then test Spider Solitaire again.

    Looking forward to your update.
