Hello Microsoft Support Team,

We are facing an MFA authentication issue with our Nanobricks Microsoft account while trying to access Microsoft Partner/Partner Center services.

The account is currently unable to complete MFA successfully, and because of this we are not able to proceed with the Microsoft partnership/Partner Center access and related onboarding activities.

We would like assistance to re-authenticate or reset the MFA registration for the account so that we can register the authenticator again and continue using the Partner services.

Could you please guide us on the correct recovery process or help us reset the existing MFA method?

We can provide the tenant/account details through the appropriate secure support channel if required.

Thank you.

    Hi Tanweer Ahmed ,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how important it is to restore access to your Microsoft Partner account, especially when MFA is preventing your organization from completing Partner Center onboarding activities.Since the issue involves Microsoft Entra MFA, the recovery process depends on whether another administrator can access your organization's tenant.

Option 1: If another Global Administrator is available

I recommend asking them to reset the affected account's MFA registration:

Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center > Microsoft Entra Admin Center.

Navigate to Entra ID > Users > All users.

    Select the affected account.

    Open Authentication methods.

    Select Require re-register MFA.

Sign in again and follow the prompts to register Microsoft Authenticator.

If you can still sign in using another verification method, you can also register a new authenticator at https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.

Microsoft's official guidance: Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra MFA

Option 2: If no other administrator can access the tenant

If the affected account is your organization's only Global Administrator and no alternative MFA method is available, you will need assistance from Microsoft Support to recover administrator access.

I recommend contacting Microsoft Business Support through the official support channels:

Explain that you are experiencing a Global Administrator MFA lockout affecting Microsoft Partner Center access and request assistance with tenant ownership verification and administrator MFA recovery.

If another authorized Partner Center user can still sign in, they can also submit a support request through: https://partner.microsoft.com/support

If telephone support is unsuccessful and your organization has no accessible administrator account, you might consider registering for a new tenant by signing up for a trial subscription via this link Compare All Microsoft 365 Plans | Microsoft. This would allow you to create a new tenant following the provided prompts. Once set up, you can access the admin console of the new tenant and submit a support ticket requesting to speak with the Data Protection team on behalf of your previous tenant. However, this does not automatically reset MFA or guarantee Partner Center account recovery.

Option 3: If MFA works but Partner Center still rejects authentication

The issue may involve Partner Center-specific MFA requirements rather than a lost Authenticator registration. In that case, I recommend contacting Partner Center Support to review the authentication failure.

Microsoft's official documentation: Multifactor authentication requirements for Partner Center

Please note that, as a moderator, I cannot directly reset MFA or access your organization's tenant. Any sensitive tenant or account details should be shared only through Microsoft's secure support channels.

Could you please confirm whether the affected account is your organization's only Global Administrator, and whether MFA fails during Microsoft sign-in or only when accessing Partner Center?

This will help identify the correct recovery process.
