my usb drive is not recognized it has no volume despite the fact that it is ohysically connected

    Hello,

    1. Have you tried plugging the USB drive into different USB ports? If you're using a USB hub, disconnect the USB drive from the hub and plug it directly into your computer to see if it is recognized.
    2. If the USB drive is detected by your computer, does it appear in File Explorer with a drive letter, or is it missing from there?

    Check whether the USB drive is detected in the Disk Management window.

    • Press Windows + X, then select Disk Management.
