Microsoft has acknowledged that Microsoft Casual Games leaderboards and scores are not updating correctly; there is currently no published player-side fix, so monitor the known-issues page and install the game update when Microsoft releases one.^1^
What to do now
- Check the incident status on the Microsoft Casual Games known-issues page. It currently says Microsoft is working to get leaderboards updating correctly.^1^
- Check for the eventual app update: open Microsoft Store → Library → Check for updates, then install any update for Microsoft Solitaire Collection.^2^
- Report your specific occurrence:
- Press Windows logo key + F to open Feedback Hub with a screenshot.
- Search for “Microsoft Solitaire scores not updating.”
- Upvote a matching report and select Give similar feedback, or create a new report.
- Include the date the issue began, your Solitaire app version, whether Daily Challenge completion is recorded, and when the score eventually appears. Feedback Hub supports screenshots and a recording of the reproduction steps.^3^
The available official notice does not attribute the problem to a particular late-September upgrade, so that timing should be reported as an observation rather than a confirmed cause. Reinstalling Windows, clearing Windows Update components, or performing system repairs is not indicated for this acknowledged leaderboard issue.
The Microsoft Teams Development tag is unrelated to Microsoft Solitaire Collection. If reposting or categorizing the report, use Microsoft Casual Games/Xbox or Windows gaming support instead.
