Welcome Anthony Moran,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that pink borders have suddenly appeared on your Windows 11 screen and you would like to remove them.
Does the pink border appear around the entire screen or only around a specific app/window? Also, does it remain after restarting the computer before opening any applications?
In the meantime, you can try these steps:
1, Check whether a screen capture or recording is active.
- Close Snipping Tool and any screen recording or screen sharing applications that are currently running.
- Press Esc and check whether the border disappears.
2, Check Windows accessibility color settings.
- Press Windows key + U to open Accessibility.
- Select Contrast themes and make sure None is selected.
- Select Color filters and make sure Color filters is turned off.
3, Check whether Magnifier is running.
- Press Windows key + Esc to close Magnifier if it is active.
- Check whether the pink border disappears.
4, Restart Windows Explorer.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Find Windows Explorer.
- Right-click Windows Explorer and select Restart.
Looking forward to your update.
