so my account is gone? like what? he changed the stuff? so its just gone? i cant get it back?
what if i make a new aCCOUNT with the email that was originally used? does that do anything?

My account was just recently hacked about 30 minutes ago.
the guy changed the email on the account and the phone number so now i have no way to even login into the account.
is there anyway someone could email me and help me fix this?

DaveM121 939.1K Reputation points Independent Advisor2026-10-11T09:31:02.8966667+00:00 I wish I had better news for you, this forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, when a Microsoft account is hacked, if the hackers change the associated data like the Email, then that account is usually no longer recoverable, try using the process they provide on this link to recover a hacked account, if this process is not successful, sadly, that account cannot be recovered.

even with the email provided of what the hacker changed it too, that doesnt help at all?

2026-10-11T09:53:49.2066667+00:00 If the process they provide on that link is not successful, most likely your account cannot be recovered, I realize this is a bad situation, but we are just users on this forum and do not have any account access, if you can find a method to contact Microsoft support, they may be able to help you, but usually they just redirect you to the same account recovery form.
