Hi Jamal,
The screenshot didn't come through, so please paste the exact error text. In the meantime, these are the most common causes of "can't Save As" plus "Excel closes after repair", quickest checks first:
1. Windows Security blocking Excel from writing (very common)
Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Ransomware protection > Controlled folder access. If it is on, open Block history. If EXCEL.EXE is listed, select Allow an app through Controlled folder access and add EXCEL.EXE.
2. Save to a simple local folder
Try Save As to C:\Temp\test.xlsx. If that works, the problem is the original location: OneDrive/SharePoint sync, a network drive, missing permissions, or a full path longer than 218 characters.
3. Safe mode test
Press Windows + R, type excel /safe, open the file and try Save As. If it works, go to File > Options > Add-ins > Manage COM Add-ins > Go, and disable the add-ins one at a time to find the culprit.
4. Rescue the content into a new workbook
Open the file, right-click a sheet tab > Select All Sheets > right-click again > Move or Copy > To book: (new book) > tick Create a copy > OK, then save the new workbook. This often leaves file-level corruption behind.
5. Repair and update Office
Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft 365 > Modify > Online Repair, then File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
If none of this helps, please share the exact error message, your Excel version (File > Account) and where the file is stored, and I'll help narrow it down.
