Team Premium Webinar - Hide attendee names won't save

I have a Teams Premium license and I want to use the hide attendee names.

I have created a webinar into the future, added a presenter and activated the 'hide attendee names'. However whenever I try to save changes, I receive the following error message.

I have seen on other forums that I need to change the option to ensure that that everyone can't present however I don't have that option on the webinar. However I have changed the global settings in the Teams Admin Centre.

Can you please advise how to fix this?

    Hello @Migraine Foundation webinars

I understand that when creating a new webinar, you are unable to enable the “Hide attendee list” option because an error appears stating that the changes cannot be saved.

To help isolate the cause, could you please check the following and let me know the results?

    • Does the issue occur in both the Teams desktop app and Teams on the web?
    • If you create a new webinar, does the same issue occur there as well?
    • Could you add another user as a Co-organizer and check whether they are able to enable the Hide attendee list option?
    • Please try reassigning the Teams Premium license to the organizer account and test again after the license has refreshed.
    • Have you been able to enable the Hide attendee list option successfully in the past, or has this issue always occurred?

Additionally, when testing, please try to enable the Hide attendee list option before adding any presenters to the webinar. This helps avoid potential conflicts with webinar role assignments and allows us to determine whether the issue is related to the presenter configuration.

I look forward to your update.
