While exploring the installed Windows 11 26h2,the same non fixable/solvable issues exist as before when Windows 11 25h2 was explored, after trying to pin to start about from the settings that go me nowhere?.All the advice you gave me earlier on did not solve my issues.I explored many online websites that showed videos on how to solve this problem?, but sadly nothing worked. After getting nowhere, simply started all over again by go back to my original fully functional Windows 11 21.996.1,even after it's over 3 years old and no longer supported.I even explored Windows 10,only to notice on the screen in blue that support of my installed Windows 10 has ended. and couldn't go on using it.My fully functional Windows 21.996.1 Dev build, still gets updated ,and will leave it at that till i am forced to install Windows 11 25h2 or later?.

    Hi maroner pierre,

I understand you’ve already tried several suggestions for pinning the About page to Start in Windows 11 25H2/26H2 without success, and eventually returned to the older build that works better for you.

At this point, since the previous troubleshooting and the methods you found online did not change the behavior, I would avoid making further system changes solely to force this particular shortcut.

If Pin to Start is not available or does not work for that Settings page, a practical alternative is to access it through Settings > System > About when needed. You can also press Win + R, enter ms-settings:about and press Enter to open the About page directly.

One important consideration is that using an older or unsupported Windows build long-term is generally not recommended, particularly for a computer connected to the Internet. Moving to a currently supported Windows release when practical will help ensure you continue receiving the appropriate security and servicing updates.

I hope this points you in the right direction.
