    Hi,

    What is your printer model?

Based on your description, it could be a hardware issue—a physical failure.

    Thanks.

If the printer has no power at all even after unplugging and plugging it back in multiple times and trying different outlets, the issue is likely with the printer itself rather than Windows.

    Try these checks in order:

    1. Do a full power cycle
      • Turn off the printer if it has a power switch.
      • Unplug it.
      • Wait 30 seconds.
      • Plug it back in and turn it on.
    2. Check the power connection carefully
      • Make sure the power cable is firmly connected to the printer.
      • If the printer uses a detachable power brick or adapter, make sure both ends are fully seated.
    3. Check the printer for any status lights or display activity
      • If there are no lights, no screen, and no startup sounds, that points to a power or hardware problem on the printer.
    4. If the printer powers on but Windows still does not respond
      • In Windows 10, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
      • Select the printer, then select More devices and printer settings.
      • Right-click the printer and select Troubleshoot.
    5. If the printer turns on but shows as stopped, offline, or in error
      • Check the printer display panel or printer status in Windows.
      • In printer properties, open the General tab and review the device status message.
    6. If power returns but printing still fails
      • Restart the Print Spooler service:
        • Open Services.
        • Right-click Print Spooler and select Restart.
    7. If the printer powers on but still is not usable
      • Reinstall the printer driver:
        • Open Device Manager.
        • Right-click the printer and select Uninstall device.
        • Restart the PC and reinstall the driver.
      • If needed, install the latest compatible driver from the printer manufacturer.

If the printer remains completely dead with no lights or display after trying multiple outlets and reconnecting power, that indicates a printer hardware or power supply failure.
