    Hi Robert,

To further check on this, can you tell me please what method you use to send files from cellphone to your laptop? This will help me check some alternative options that would be easier and convenient for sending files to your laptop.

    Hi Robert,

Adding to Diana's question, since the steps depend on the phone: the built-in way to do this on Windows 11 is Phone Link. On the laptop, open Phone Link from the Start menu, choose your phone type and scan the QR code with the phone to pair them. You need to be signed in with a Microsoft account.

If it is an Android phone, once it is linked you send a file like this: open the file on the phone, tap Share, and choose "Link to Windows" (it may show as "Send to PC"). Pick the laptop from the list and keep that screen open until it says Sent. The file is saved on the laptop in Downloads, in a folder called Phone Link.

1- Upload the files from your phone to your OneDrive.

2- Download the files from your OneDrive to your computer.
