Concerns about web search on Bing
Good afternoon,
I work at the Register Office, Huddersfield and our webpage is https://www.kirklees.gov.uk/beta/register-offices/register-offices.aspx
We have a couple of concerns regarding some of the websites that appear when a customer searches for us. We have had a recent incident where a customer believes that they have purchased a certificate with us, but there is no trace of the order. When we check online, there are a number of other websites displaying our details and it’s concern that they’re incorrect or they’re duping customers. I know that it’s normal for other websites to do this, however I just wanted to flag it with you and take some advice on it. The websites that appear in the search are:
Huddersfield Register Office - Register Office
Huddersfield Registry Office | Certificates & Contact
Huddersfield Registration Office - Registration Office
▷ Huddersfield Register Office
The most concerning thing for me is that when I did the initial search, our website wasn’t the top result. Is there anything we can do about that?
Thanks
Aman
