Try these steps in order:
- Check the purchase account Sign in to Order history with the same Microsoft account used to buy Minecraft and confirm the purchase appears there. If it does not, the Store is likely signed in with a different account.
- Install from Microsoft Store Library Open Microsoft Store > My Library and look for Minecraft. If it shows a Download icon or Install, select that instead of relying only on the product page.
- Restart the PC If Windows was recently updated, restart the PC before trying the install again.
- Reset Microsoft Store cache
- Press Windows key + R
- Type wsreset.exe
- Select OK
- Wait for the blank command window to close and for Microsoft Store to reopen automatically Then try the install again.
- Check common reasons the app will not install
Microsoft Store can hide or block installs when:
- the app is not available in the current country or region
- family settings are hiding the app
- the app is no longer available
- the app is not compatible with the device
- the PC is not authorized for Microsoft Store apps
- If the game shows as owned but still stays queued
This can be a Store or license refresh issue. A Microsoft Q&A resolution for a similar case recommends:
- confirming the purchase in Order history
- installing from Microsoft Store > Library
- updating Windows and Store apps, then restarting
- running wsreset.exe
If Minecraft still shows Queued after these steps, use Contact Support for purchasing or Microsoft Store issues.
