Multiple Selection Not Working in My Access Portal Despite Microsoft Graph Configuration
Dear Microsoft Entra Team,
I am seeking your guidance regarding multiple-selection functionality for requestor information questions in Microsoft Entra ID Governance Access Packages.
We have configured a Multiple choice question in an Access Package and updated the isMultipleSelectionAllowed property to true using Microsoft Graph API. When we retrieve the assignment policy through a GET request, the property correctly returns true. However, in the My Access portal, selecting another option replaces the previously selected option instead of allowing multiple options to be selected simultaneously.
For your reference, we used the following Microsoft Graph endpoint to update the existing assignment policy:
HTTP method: PUT
Endpoint: https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/identityGovernance/entitlementManagement/assignmentPolicies/{policyId}
We subsequently used the same endpoint with the GET method to verify the configuration and confirmed that isMultipleSelectionAllowed was set to true.
Could you please clarify the following?
Is multiple selection for a single Multiple choice question officially supported in the My Access portal?
If supported, is any additional configuration required beyond setting isMultipleSelectionAllowed to true through Microsoft Graph?
If the My Access portal does not support this behavior, is there an alternative supported approach to enable multiple selections for a single question without creating multiple separate questions or Access Packages?
Once multiple selections are submitted, how can all selected answers be retrieved through Microsoft Graph API and processed individually in Azure Logic Apps?
We would appreciate your technical guidance on how to achieve this functionality using supported Microsoft Entra capabilities.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Kind regards, Likhith
