TPM unready to use after sleep mode.

TPM always becomes 'not ready for use' after the laptop goes into sleep mode. After preparing the TPM and restarting the computer it becomes ready again, but doing that every time is quite exhausting. I have tried lots of things I found on the web, and they were unhelpful.

Since the TPM becomes unavailable specifically after sleep and only recovers after preparing it again and restarting, this may be related to the TPM firmware, BIOS, or power-state handling rather than a normal Windows startup issue.

I’d start by checking the laptop manufacturer’s support page for BIOS and chipset updates, as well as any TPM or security firmware updates available for the exact model. Also, check Event Viewer under Windows Logs > System for TPM-related errors around the time the laptop wakes from sleep.

Before clearing or resetting the TPM, make sure your BitLocker recovery key is backed up, since TPM changes can trigger a recovery prompt.

Could you share your laptop model, Windows version, and the exact TPM error or status shown after waking from sleep? That would help narrow down whether this is a firmware or Windows issue.
