A web-based tool in Microsoft 365 that enables users to quickly create surveys, quizzes, polls, and feedback forms.
There is no context indicating a current widespread Microsoft Forms outage for notification emails.
Supported notification behavior in Microsoft Forms:
- Check that notifications are enabled on each form:
- Open the form.
- Select More form Settings > Response receipts > Get email notification of each response.
- If the form was just shared, leave notifications on long enough to receive the first notification email after one day.
- If reminders are expected instead of per-response emails:
- Forms can send a notification email the day after sending a form or quiz to an audience.
- Reminders can then be sent from that email by selecting Send reminder, or from the Responses tab by selecting Remind them.
- If the forms are used in Microsoft Teams and the goal is team-wide visibility:
- In the Teams channel, select More options > Connectors.
- Configure the Forms connector.
- Select the form to receive a daily summary of responses in the channel.
- If the forms were moved to a group and the team expects group email notifications:
- A separate Outlook setting change is required so everyone in the group receives email notifications when responses come in.
- If the form appears stale or response activity is not updating as expected:
- Refresh the form page, because a broken real-time connection can prevent the latest updates from appearing.
