    Could you please let me know what happens when you try to sign in, including the exact error message you receive? Also, are you unable to sign in through a web browser as well, or does this only happen in the Outlook app on your Android device?

    In the meantime, you can try these steps:

    • Try signing in to Outlook.com from a web browser using your Hotmail address and Microsoft account password.
    • If the password is not accepted or you cannot complete the sign-in, use the Microsoft account sign-in troubleshooter and follow the prompts for your situation.
    • If you are told that the account is blocked, follow the account verification process presented during sign-in.
