Hi juelz yarber,
I see that the AI answer has given some suggestions, and they're worth trying. I just want to add that since Microsoft Store is also showing Xbox live error, you may check whether your Microsoft account can actually authenticate with the services. Please check the account outside the Store:
- Open a browser and go to https://account.microsoft.com/
- Sign in using the same Microsoft account you use in Microsoft Store.
- If you cannot sign in there either, use Microsoft's Sign-in Helper to troubleshoot.
- If you can sign in normally, open Microsoft Store > click the profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Select your account and choose Sign out > restart your PC > sign back into the Store.
- If the error remains, reset it with
wsreset.exeas mentioned in the AI answer - Wait for Microsoft Store to reopen, then try the download again.
- You can also try to see if you can reinstall Gaming Services:
- Open PowerShell as an administrator > run the following commands one by one:
-
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers -
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN - Restart your PC and try logging into the Xbox app again.
Please also keep in mind that Windows 10 reached end of support in 2025. Because it is no longer a supported, compatibility or service-related issues may occur over time, and there may not be a specific fix available. If the problem continues, the practical long-term solution would be to upgrade to Windows 11 if your PC meets the requirements.
