HI, I have the same issue. I don't have access to the work email and the personal email I logged into only goes back 7 years and I purchased in 2017. What should I do?

Did you get Office via your employer back in 2017? If you no longer work for the same company, you can't use that license anymore, I'm afraid.
It was a lifetime license I purchased though. I also have access to the email that the original download was sent to which wasn’t my work email.

Geneally, a Professional Plus license purchased via the HUP is no longer valid when you leave the company through which you purchased it. But the exact rules that apply may depend on the specific circumstances of your purchase.
It is simpler nowadays, because Office Home 2024 and Office Home & Business 2024 are the only two perpetual licenses for consumer use. All the rest is under volume licensing, only.
