A Microsoft offering that enables tracking of cloud usage and expenditures for Azure and other cloud providers.
Use the Azure portal support flow and avoid the suggested solution loop.
- In the Azure portal, open Help + support from the global header or portal menu.
- Select Create a support request.
- In the support pane, enter Billing and select the billing issue category.
- Select the affected subscription and continue.
- If the portal shows AI suggestions, articles, or recommended solutions, do not stay on those results. Select Create a support request if it appears, or use Return to support request to go back to the request form.
- Complete the request form:
- Issue type: Billing
- Enter the summary
- Select the problem type and problem subtype that best match the case
- Select Next to continue to the details page.
- In Problem details, provide thorough information such as:
- when the issue started
- steps already tried
- any relevant billing details visible in the portal
- attachments or logs if available
- Continue to Review + create and submit the request.
If the button disappears after selecting Billing, the working path described in the support guidance is to ignore the recommended content and go back into the request form using Return to support request, then continue with Next until the case can be submitted.
For Enterprise Agreement billing issues, creating the request requires Enterprise Administrator or Partner Administrator permissions associated with the enrollment.
After submission, a confirmation email should arrive and the case can be tracked from Help + support.
