Card View number keyboard will not save data

We use card view to enter data using the numeric keyboard. Following a recent update, the numeric keyboard will not save the data entered. Normal process is to click in the numeric keyboard symbol to the right of the cell you wish to edit, enter the data using the numeric keyboard and then click done. We are finding that the data is entered when we type using the numeric keyboard, but when we click done, the data disappears. If instead we use the full alpha/numeric keyboard and dont click done but rather click in another cell after entering data, then the data entered remains. Any help would be appreciated. We have tried this on two different Samsung android phones. This worked no problem prior to a recent update

    Hi @Tom

Since the issue began after an update and occurs on two different Samsung phones, this is likely an Excel for Android app issue rather than a problem with the workbook. Card View is specifically designed to allow editing table values on a phone, so the entered value should not disappear when Done is selected. Use Cards View to work with table data on your phone

For now, continue using the full keyboard and select another cell to commit the entry. You can also try clearing the Excel app cache under Android Settings > Apps > Excel > Storage > Clear cache, then restart the phone.

If the problem remains, please report it through Excel’s Help & Feedback option and include the Excel version, Android version, phone model, and that the issue can be reproduced on two devices.
