Build 26340.9596 is a Windows Insider Experimental/Dev channel release announcement in Windows Update.

Relevant channel facts from the available release notes:

    • The Dev Channel has transitioned to the Experimental channel in the new Windows Insider Program rollout.
    • Builds in the 26340 series are based on Windows 11, version 26H2.
    • Feature availability in these builds can vary because Microsoft uses Controlled Feature Rollout, so not every change appears for everyone at the same time.
    • A desktop watermark is normal on these pre-release Insider builds.
    • Build/channel rollout timing can vary, and exact rollout timing is not always published in advance.
