    Hello RODRIGO CRUZ,

Sorry the Surface came back on Home, and that the charger did not come back with it. You should not need to send the device in again just to change the Windows edition. That can usually be done on the PC.

    Try this first:

    • Go to Settings > System > Activation
    • Sign in with the Microsoft account that was used on this Surface before (the one that would have held a Pro digital license, if you had one)
    • If you see Upgrade your edition of Windows, open the Store from that page and see whether it offers Pro without charging again
    • If you have a Windows Pro product key, use Change product key on the same Activation page

Note that many consumer Surfaces ship with Home. After service they often restore that factory edition. If this unit never had a Pro license on the account, Activation will not turn it into Pro for free — you would need to buy the upgrade.

For the missing charger, that is the repair order, not a Windows setting. Check the device/service order at account.microsoft.com/devices or start from How to get service or repair for Surface.

If Activation still shows Home after you sign in, a screenshot of that Activation page (edition and activation status only) would help see whether it is a license issue or the Store upgrade path.

You should be able to activate Windows Pro by going to System > Activation and signing in with your Microsoft account. If you have a digital license linked to your account, you can upgrade your Windows edition from Home to Pro. If you didn't get your charger back, you will need to contact them.
