Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hi Nancy,
If you want to stop an Out of Office (Automatic Replies) message in Outlook, you may try:
- Open Outlook.
- Select File > Automatic Replies.
- In the Automatic Replies window > select Do not send automatic replies
- If automatic replies are currently enabled, Outlook may also display a message under the ribbon indicating that Out of Office is turned on. If you see this banner, simply select Turn off to disable the automatic replies.
- On Outlook on the web, you can also go to Settings (gear icon) > Account > Automatic replies and switch them off there.
- If you do not see Automatic Replies in Classic Outlook, you can check File > Manage Rules & Alerts and disable any rule that is sending automatic replies. For reference: Use rules to create an out of office message in classic Outlook for Windows.
Please note that you can only disable the automatic replies created from your account.
I hope this information is helpful.
