Can't see new folder sizes on my company's shared OneDrive

I have been adding new big files onto my work's OneDrive for cloud storing. In the start it showed in GB how much the folders were, so I could make sure they are correct. But now when I press "Details" (this is on the website, not File Explorer because that would be locally saved which they are not) it just shows "152 bytes" instead of the file size.

"Storage Metrics" via settings only take me to my personal account's metrics.

Any way to fix this?

Edit: Your suggestion to try on another browser worked! Thank you.

    • Are you using OneDrive for Business (work/school account) or a personal Microsoft account?
      Business
    • Does the"152 bytes" value appear for all folders, or only specific folders?
All folders from when it stopped (so all folders now being uploaded the last couple months)
    • Does the issue occur in multiple browsers (for example, Edge InPrivate or Chrome Incognito)?
Only on Chrome's normal browser (just tested Incognito and it shows the size)
    • If you create a new test folder and upload a file with a known size, does the Details pane still show 152 bytes?
      Yes

    Dear Dave,

Based on your description, this appears more like a display issue within the OneDrive web interface rather than a problem with the actual uploaded data.

To help narrow this down, could you confirm the following?

    • Are you using OneDrive for Business (work/school account) or a personal Microsoft account?
    • Does the"152 bytes" value appear for all folders, or only specific folders?
    • Does the issue occur in multiple browsers (for example, Edge InPrivate or Chrome Incognito)?
    • If you create a new test folder and upload a file with a known size, does the Details pane still show 152 bytes?

In the meantime, as an initial troubleshooting step, please try:

    1. Opening OneDrive in an InPrivate/Incognito browser session.
    2. Switching between List and Tiles view.
    3. Refreshing the page and checking whether the size updates.
    4. Verifying whether your overall OneDrive storage usage increases after the upload completes.

    Looking forward to your update.
