Stuck VNet Peering Deletion throwing GatewayError 429
Hello,
Our VNet peering deletion has been stuck for over 90 minutes due to an internal Azure platform infrastructure lockup. Both VNet peering deletion and subnet creation operations are failing immediately.
Looking at the Activity Logs, we see a RetryableError / GatewayError with an HTTP 429 substatus code indicating a concurrent operation lock. The backend state machine shows that a previous delete job is stuck spinning in the background, blocking any subsequent updates to the network resource.
Could an Azure engineer please check the backend logs and perform a resource state flush or manual sync on our VNet to break the stuck infrastructure lock?
