    ##### usually means the column is too narrow to display the full value.

    Try this:

    1. Find the column that shows #####.
    2. Move the pointer to the right edge of that column header.
    3. Double-click the edge to automatically widen the column.

    Other fixes if needed:

    • Drag the right edge of the column header to make the column wider manually.
    • On Home > Decrease Decimal if the number has too many decimal places.
    • If the cell contains a date, change it to Short Date from Home > Number Format.
    • On Home > Alignment Settings, turn on Shrink to fit to make the contents smaller.

If the cell is showing a negative date or time value, Excel can also display #####. In that case, change the formula result to a different number format or make sure the date/time result is positive.
