A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
##### usually means the column is too narrow to display the full value.
Try this:
- Find the column that shows
#####. - Move the pointer to the right edge of that column header.
- Double-click the edge to automatically widen the column.
Other fixes if needed:
- Drag the right edge of the column header to make the column wider manually.
- On Home > Decrease Decimal if the number has too many decimal places.
- If the cell contains a date, change it to Short Date from Home > Number Format.
- On Home > Alignment Settings, turn on Shrink to fit to make the contents smaller.
If the cell is showing a negative date or time value, Excel can also display #####. In that case, change the formula result to a different number format or make sure the date/time result is positive.
