    Hello Chaturvedi, Santosh,

Thanks for the clarification. I understand you want the Power Query source address to follow I121, not to copy a Power Query result into I121.

In your screenshot, I121 displays 922, while its formula refers to E10 in another workbook. The Power Query parameter contains a file path. If Power Query reads I121 as a cell value, it would get 922, not the file path shown inside the formula.

Do you want Power Query to use the workbook path embedded in I121’s formula, or would you prefer to put the file path as text in a separate worksheet cell and have Power Query read that cell? Once I know which you mean, I can give you the appropriate steps without changing I121’s existing formula.

    and

    Power qury file path is

    Q:\Presentations\PE_31\O_Analysis and calculation\Fatigue\Backups_Marcros\Fatigue Assesment_as per 17949_Welded Joints_addresse\2_Preprocessing_DB_Data\Preprocessing_DB Collective_1\Preprocessing_DB_Data_C1_RSL31_Power_Q.xlsm

Use a cell reference or a linked cell, not a hyperlink.

If the Power Query result already appears in the worksheet, link I121 to that result cell:

    1. Select the cell that contains the Power Query value to mirror.
    2. Press Ctrl+C.
    3. Select cell I121.
    4. Go to Home > Paste > Paste Link.

Excel creates a cell reference in I121. When the source cell changes after the query is refreshed, I121 updates to the same value.

If the Power Query value is already in a worksheet cell such as C125, I121 can also be set by entering a direct reference formula like:

    =C125

If the value is on another worksheet, use a worksheet reference instead. The Paste Link command is the easiest way because Excel inserts the correct reference syntax automatically.

If the parameter is currently Connection only and not loaded to a worksheet cell, first load the needed value to a worksheet cell, then link I121 to that cell.
