Microsoft for Startups business verification failed — no Program Support option

Hello,

I am enrolled in the new Microsoft for Startups experience in the Azure Portal.

My business verification failed with the message:

“We couldn’t verify your startup.”

No reason was provided, and there is no option to edit the submitted information, upload supporting documents, request a review, or resubmit.

I also do not have the “Your Microsoft Team / Get program support” option described in Microsoft’s documentation, and my Basic/Free Azure support level does not allow me to create the type of support request needed for this issue.

My startup is legitimate and I can provide business registration documentation, tax/business records, proof of domain ownership, product information, and any other verification materials through a secure/private channel.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate my existing startup profile to Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Business Verification for manual review, or provide the secure route for submitting verification documents?

I am intentionally not posting any private business identifiers or subscription information in this public forum.

Thank you.

    Hi @Bevan John

Unfortunately, Microsoft Q&A moderators don't have access to startup verification records and can't perform manual verification reviews or view submitted business documents.

Since your verification has already failed and the**"Your Microsoft Team / Get program support"** option is not available in your experience, this appears to require assistance from the Microsoft for Startups program team rather than standard Azure support.

    My recommendation is:

    • Do not post business registration numbers, tax records, subscription IDs, or other sensitive information publicly.
    • Gather the verification failure screenshot, startup name, Azure tenant information, business registration documents, and proof of domain ownership.
    • Request escalation to the Microsoft for Startups Business Verification team through the program support channels available from the Startups experience. If those options are missing, a Microsoft moderator may need to route your case internally.

Based on similar reports from other Startup applicants, the issue is often that there is no self-service option to resubmit, upload additional documents, or request a manual review after the verification failure is shown.

A Microsoft moderator may be able to advise the correct escalation path or engage the Microsoft for Startups support team for review of your application.

If this helps point you toward the correct support path, please mark the answer as helpful or accepted so others encountering the same startup verification issue can find it more easily.

    Regards
