Hello,

Outlook's suggestion needs improvement. As you can see in the screenshot, it suggests attaching a document just by detecting the word rather than understanding the context.

outlook_issue

Thanks,

To send feedback to Microsoft, use the feedback facility in Outlook (Help > Feedback) and/or the feedback portal at https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/89a8afa3-2e1c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472 .

Microsoft developers do not follow the Q&A forums, I'm afraid.

That behavior matches Outlook’s intelligent suggestion behavior. In Outlook on the web and Outlook.com, Outlook can detect content in a message and show suggestions such as Attach a file. That suggestion can appear when Outlook thinks a file may be relevant to the conversation, and selecting it creates a draft with the chosen attachment.

If the suggestion is not helpful, it can be turned off:

    New Outlook on the web

    1. Select Settings > Mail > Smart suggestions.
    2. Clear Show suggested replies.
    3. Select Save.

    Classic Outlook on the web

    1. Select Settings > Mail > Suggested replies.
    2. Clear Show suggested replies.
    3. Select Save.

If the goal is to report this as product feedback, the documented feedback channel is Provide feedback.
