When I go School A's login page and enter my School A credentials, it takes me to my School B outlook account. How can I log into School A's outlook account so it will open School A?

    Hi Irgens,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, when you sign in to your School A Outlook account, the system opens your School B Outlook account instead.

In this case, you can try clearing your browser's cache and cookies to resolve the issue.

Please press Ctrl + Shift + Delete, then select Clear now.

If the issue persists, try signing in using an InPrivate/Incognito window to check whether the same issue still occurs.

To open an InPrivate/Incognito window, you can press Ctrl + Shift + N.

I hope this information is helpful.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.

This usually happens because the browser is still signed in with the wrong account.

    Try this:

    1. Open Outlook on the web from a browser and check which account is currently signed in.
    2. In the Outlook navigation header, select Account manager.
    3. If School B is signed in, select Sign out.
    4. Start the sign-in process again and choose Sign in with a different account.
    5. Enter the School A work or school account email address and password.
    6. Complete any two-factor authentication prompts if required.

A work or school account can only sign in to the Microsoft service it is set up for, and there is no synchronization between personal accounts and work or school accounts. If the wrong mailbox keeps opening, signing out and explicitly choosing the correct account is the supported path.

If access to School A still fails, use the My Account portal to verify the School A work or school account and its security info. If sign-in is not possible there either, use the work or school password reset option or contact the school IT admin.
