I am unable to log into my email at yahoo.com from my laptop- this is the error message I get. I can access it from my phone. So, the problem has to be with a setting on the laptop.

    Hello Mark's Gal,

Since you can access your Yahoo Mail account from your phone but receive a reference error on the laptop, the account itself appears to remain accessible. The issue may instead be related to the browser’s saved data, an extension, or the laptop’s network connection.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + N to open an InPrivate window, then try signing in to Yahoo Mail. If it works there, saved browser data or an extension may be interfering.
    2. In Edge, open Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data > Choose what to clear. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, choose All time, then select Clear now. Please note that this may sign you out of other websites.
    3. Temporarily turn off any ad-blocking, privacy, VPN, or antivirus browser extensions, then test Yahoo again.
    4. Try another browser or connect the laptop to your phone’s mobile hotspot.

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps, and I'll be glad to continue looking into it with you.
