An Azure service that provides streamlined full-stack web app development.
Hi Andy,
If you changed the Azure user type from Member to Guest or vice versa, that change by itself does not change where you sign in. Microsoft Entra notes that userType controls the user's status/permissions in the tenant, not the identity provider used for authentication.
Try signing in to https://portal.azure.com and use Directories + subscriptions to select the tenant that contains your subscription. Then check Subscription → Access control (IAM) and make sure your account still has an appropriate Azure RBAC role, such as Contributor or Owner.
If you cannot access the tenant or subscription at all after the user-type change, the tenant administrator will need to restore your access or role assignment. Changing the Static Web App itself will not resolve an Azure portal/RBAC access problem.
