Azure Free Account signup is stuck after successful verification. The verification shows “Verification complete”, but the Next button remains disabled. I have no Azure subscription under Subscriptions, and I only have one Default Directory. Please check my account and help complete the Azure Free Account subscription creation.

I am trying to create an Azure Free Account. Phone/card verification shows “Verification complete”, but the Next button remains disabled. I have checked Azure Portal > Subscriptions and there are 0 subscriptions. I have only one Default Directory. I also tried Chrome Incognito, but the issue remains. Please check why my Azure Free Account subscription has not been created.

If verification shows Verification complete but Next stays disabled, use this supported troubleshooting path:

    1. Verify the sign-up prerequisites again:
      • Azure profile information is correct, including contact email address, street address, and telephone number.
      • Credit card information is correct.
      • No other Microsoft account already uses the same information.
    2. Check the billing details on the Microsoft account:
      • Sign in to the Microsoft account center.
      • Open Your info.
      • Confirm billing and shipping details are completed and valid.
      • Confirm the credit card billing address matches the bank records.
    3. If the issue occurs in the card verification stage, allow third-party cookies in the browser, then refresh the sign-up page.
      • In Chrome: Settings > Show advanced settings > Privacy > Content settings and clear Block third-party cookies and site data.
      • In Edge: Settings > View advanced settings > Cookies > Don't block cookies.
      • If refresh does not help, fully close and restart the browser and try again.
    4. Try a private browsing session or clear browser cookies/cache.
      • This is especially relevant when only one default directory is shown but the sign-up flow appears stuck.
      • In Edge, use New InPrivate window.
      • In Chrome, use Incognito mode.
    5. If phone verification was part of the flow, confirm the phone number was entered correctly with the right country code, and use a non-VoIP number. If SMS is unreliable, try the Call me option.
    6. If the free trial still does not appear under Subscriptions, confirm eligibility:
      • Free trial is only available to users who are new to Azure.
      • If any Azure subscription existed previously, free trial activation is not available.
      • In that case, the supported alternative is a pay-as-you-go subscription.
    7. If sign-up remains blocked after the browser and account-detail checks, create a support request for Azure Billing and Subscriptions.

Because no subscription appears under Subscriptions, the account-side sign-up did not complete successfully yet.
