Swedish voices and prononciations

Just one male and two female, that sounds very close to each other... Several words that are directly wrongly pronounced. Almost impossible to correct some of them. I started out ok trying some of the ones that have many languages listed, but they all fail... Can one hope that this'll be better anytime soon?

    Hi Fredrik,

    Azure Speech currently lists three Swedish (sv-SE) neural voices: Sofie, Mattias, and Hillevi. Microsoft has also recently shipped quality improvements for Sofie and Mattias.

    For words that are consistently pronounced incorrectly, Speech does provide SSML phonemes and custom lexicons to control pronunciation. However, this depends on the voice/locale and will not fix general model quality issues across all words.

    If the same Swedish words are being mispronounced across the available voices, I would report a few concrete examples through Azure Support/feedback. That gives the Speech team something specific to reproduce and improve.
