Hello Nusair,
Upgrading from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro requires a valid license key; the generic Microsoft key only changes the edition but does not activate the OS. To properly activate, you need to purchase legitimate Windows 11 Pro licenses through official Microsoft channels. The recommended approach is to buy licenses via the Microsoft Store for Business or through a Volume Licensing agreement if your organization manages multiple devices. Alternatively, you can purchase retail product keys directly from the Microsoft Store online or authorized resellers, then apply them under Settings → System → Activation → Change product key. Once the devices are activated with genuine Pro licenses, they can be enrolled into Intune and managed with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. This ensures compliance and avoids activation issues during enrollment.
