Yes. Remote Desktop Connection Manager v3.21 supports a custom Remote Desktop connection port.
In RDCMan, this is available under Local Options, which states that the remote desktop connection port can be specified.
If the server is listening on a non-default RDP port, connect by using that custom port. For Remote Desktop clients, the server address can also be entered as hostname:port.
If the server itself was changed to a custom listening port, make sure that:
- The RDP listener on the server was updated to the new port.
- Windows Firewall allows inbound TCP and UDP traffic on that new port.
- The client connects using the host name plus the custom port.
Caution: changing the RDP listening port requires a registry change on the server and a restart, and incorrect registry edits can damage the system.
