To the Microsoft Rewards and Consumer Experience Team,

I am writing this email to express my absolute disappointment and frustration with the current state of the Microsoft Rewards program in India. Over time, the program has degraded to a point where it feels completely abandoned, displaying a total disregard for your user base in this region.

It is infuriating to see the massive disparity between what Microsoft offers to users in regions like the US compared to what is available in India. While users in other countries have access to a wide array of meaningful rewards—such as Xbox gift cards, popular gaming currencies, digital gift cards, and options to donate points—the India rewards page has been stripped down to virtually nothing. Presenting Overwatch 2 coins as the primary or only gaming reward option is out of touch; it is a game that a vast majority of the community here no longer plays or cares about.

Your users spend months earning these points through daily engagement and loyalty to the Microsoft ecosystem. To turn around and offer no worthwhile options to redeem these hard-earned points feels like a slap in the face. It sends a clear message that Microsoft does not value its Indian community or care about maintaining a fair, quality service across regions.

If Microsoft truly values its community and loyal users, immediate action needs to be taken to fix this inequality. At a minimum, we expect:

The re-addition/introduction of Xbox Gift Cards.

Relevant gaming currencies that players actually use (such as Fortnite V-Bucks).

A wider selection of local gift cards or options to donate points to charitable causes.

I had significantly higher expectations from a global tech leader like Microsoft. The current state of this service is unacceptable, and if this complete lack of effort toward the Indian market continues, I—along with many other loyal users—will be taking my business and engagement elsewhere.

I expect this feedback to be escalated to the appropriate program leads.

Most of the Microsoft Rewards users are young adults, mostly teenagers who play Roblox and they use it to get free Roblox Giftcards of Robux . Now even that is gone, only Overwatch Giftcard is shown on the redeem page . They must not care about the Indian region

I agree Samyak, i have been using this browser for such a long time and i have so many points now, but nothing to spend it on, there are absolutely no gift cards right now, i mean whats the point of even using this browser anymore, other than the rewards system, there is no other advantage edge browser has over the other ones. Whereas, if u look at LITERALLY any other country, the redeem section will be stacked with coupons and gifts cards, etc. As a person who has been using this browser for the past 4 or 5 years, i have to say, i am deeply disappointed in micrsoft.
