Why can't I redeem rewards for Amazon Gift card?

I cannot redeem my rewards for Amazon or Walmart, but can I redeem them for other gift cards? I have tried on different devices and search platforms. I live in the US and have not traveled out of the country, but for some reason it is saying "On the go?" You're previewing a catalog item that you're not eligible to redeem due to region or other restrictions. Can anyone help me? I have contacted Microsoft several times with no answer.

The “On the go?” message usually means the reward is being treated as unavailable because of region or other redemption restrictions.

Based on the supported guidance, the most common causes are:

    1. Region mismatch Microsoft Rewards points must be redeemed in the same region where the account was signed up. Rewards also cannot be redeemed while appearing to be in another market.
    2. VPN or proxy detection If a VPN or similar service is active, redemption can be blocked. Microsoft specifically says not to use a VPN when redeeming points.
    3. Phone verification issues Redemption requires a mobile or landline number. VoIP numbers are not permitted. There is also a limit on how many Microsoft Rewards accounts can be associated with one phone number: maximum 6 accounts per household.
    4. Offer availability Some gift cards, including specific brands, are not always available. Microsoft states that some gift cards are not always available through Microsoft Rewards and that support cannot provide details on when they will be restocked or removed.

Since different devices and platforms were already tried, the most relevant next checks are:

    1. Open the Redeem page and confirm whether Amazon or Walmart appears at all.
    2. Make sure no VPN/proxy is enabled on the network or device.
    3. If prompted for verification, use a mobile or landline number, not VoIP.
    4. Confirm the account is being used only in the US region where it was enrolled.
    5. Check Order history to see whether any attempted redemption was created and then cancelled, and review the status.
    6. If the error continues even while in the home region and without VPN/proxy use, contact Microsoft Rewards Support for account review: Microsoft Rewards Customer Support.

If Amazon or Walmart is missing entirely but other rewards are available, that points more to current offer availability than a points problem.
