Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

As an alternative, do you see an option to scan a QR code using the Bing app to verify your account?

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft Rewards page on a web browser- https://rewards.microsoft.com/ and choose the reward for redemption.
    2. When you are asked to verify your account, select the 'Verify with Bing app' option.
    3. You can then scan the QR code displayed using your Mobile device.
    4. Enter the 6-digit verification code and click Verify.
    5. Once verified, return to the Microsoft rewards redemption page to complete it.

Note: The QR code option does not appear when redeeming rewards inside the Bing app.  So, ensure you are trying to redeem the reward using a web browser or PC or mobile device.

No. Microsoft Rewards redemption requires identity verification with a mobile phone or landline number, and VoIP numbers are not allowed. The available context does not provide an email-only alternative to redeem without a phone number.

If redemption is failing, check these supported causes:

    1. Use the correct verification code. After too many failed attempts, wait 48 hours before trying again.
    2. Use a different non-VoIP phone number if that number has already been used on multiple Microsoft Rewards accounts. The limit is 6 accounts per household per phone number.
    3. Redeem only in the same region as the Microsoft account signup region.
    4. Do not use a VPN or proxy while redeeming.

If the reward is already ordered and the code is needed, go to Order History and open Order Details or use Resend.
