Hello 大輔 関根,
Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!
Your attached image hasn't come through. Please share it by responding to the private message I sent you. I understand that you are concerned about automatically generated ads. I hope the response provided here will be a good place to start.
Here are some general tips to help you diagnose why some ads aren’t currently being served while others are delivering, and to pinpoint settings that might be preventing certain search ads from running:
Check Ad Status and Policy Compliance
-- Review ad approval status in the Ads & Extensions tab — ads marked Disapproved or Eligible (limited) won’t serve until the issue is resolved.
-- Look for policy violations such as restricted content, trademark issues, or editorial disapprovals. Each disapproved ad will have a reason and a “Learn more” link.

Verify Targeting Settings__
-- Location targeting — ensure the ad’s targeted locations match where you expect impressions. Ads with overly narrow or mismatched targeting may not serve.
-- Audience targeting — if you’ve applied audience targeting, confirm that the audience size is sufficient and matches your intended reach.
-- Device targeting — check if the ad is excluded from certain devices where you expect traffic.
Review Scheduling and Rotation
-- Ad scheduling — confirm the ad is set to run on the days and hours you expect.
-- Ad rotation settings — if set to “Optimize,” lower-performing ads may be shown less often. This can make it seem like some ads aren’t serving.
Examine Keyword and Match Type Coverage
-- Keyword status — paused, low search volume, or disapproved keywords will prevent the ad from triggering.
-- Match types and negatives — overly restrictive match types or conflicting negative keywords can block impressions.
Check Bids and Budgets
-- Ad group or campaign budget limits — if the budget is exhausted early in the day, some ads may not get a chance to serve.
-- Bids too low — if your bid is below the competitive threshold, the ad may not enter the auction.
Inspect Experiments and Variations
If you’re running experiments or A/B tests, some ads may be intentionally limited in delivery to maintain test integrity.
Use the Ad Preview and Diagnostics Tool
This tool shows whether your ad is eligible to appear for a given search term and explains why it may not be showing.
In short, you can start by identifying which ads are affected, then compare their settings side-by-side with ads that are delivering. Differences in targeting, status, or budget often reveal the cause. You can see details on the help pages provided below:
