Hi,

Whenever I try to change the location of my account it says "You are managing one or more child accounts. Before you change your profile information, you need to [remove consent](https://account.live.com/mykids.aspx"remove consent") for those child accounts." however I am not in a family and am not managing any child accounts.

Help Please,

Ruby

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with this situation. Could you please sign in here: account.microsoft.com/family

If you do not see any other members, click the three dots in the top-right corner of your profile picture and select Manage consent. If that option is available, it usually means the account you are using is set up as a child account, and that a Microsoft Family was created with that account in a way that is causing this error. In that case, the account would need to be added to a Microsoft Family by an adult account as a member, since child accounts can only manage location settings with the help of an adult in the family group.
