    Hi Jon,

This is April, I'll be happy to assist you. Sorry to hear that you're having issue with Outlook Web Calendar. Let me help you out.

Based on the description of the issue you provided, when you add national Holidays in Outlook web, they appear in separate holiday calendar instead of merging into your main calendar.

This is often due to many calendar applications handle holiday data as an independent calendar by default. To ensure your holidays are added to your main calendar, check the settings in your calendar application to ensure it recognizes and merges with your main calendar. If problem persists, you can try subscribing to a third-party holiday calendar or adjusting your settings to ensure all holidays are included.

You can follow the steps below to adjust your Outlook Web and Desktop settings:

    1. Open Outlook
    2. Click Settings icon, then go to Calendar
    3. Select View or Calendars
    4. Enable Holidays or Add holidays
    5. Select your country and confirm
    6. Make sure the Holidays calendar is checked under My Calendars, so it appears with your main calendar.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance. please don’t hesitate to contact us again. I am here to help and appreciate your continued trust in us.

    Thank you,

    April P.

When you add national holidays in Outlook, it may create a separate calendar for those holidays instead of adding them directly to your existing calendar. This behavior is typical for Internet calendars, where the calendar subscription is managed separately and does not integrate directly into your main calendar view.

To manage how holidays are displayed, you might need to check your calendar settings or the specific method you are using to add the holidays. If you're using Outlook Web Access (OWA), the server manages the calendar subscription, and updates may sync periodically, which could also affect how they appear in your Outlook desktop application.
