Hello Bondi, It sounds like you're facing an issue with your usage report after starting a free trial on Azure. The absence of line items in your exported usage file can happen for a few reasons. Here are some things to consider:

    1. Free Trial Services: Ensure that the resources you used during the trial are included in the free service offerings. If you've used resources not covered by the free trial, it might not be reflected in the report as line items could specifically list charges outside your free services.
    2. Billing Cycle: Since your free trial started on December 27, 2025, and you're viewing the invoice generated on January 9, 2026, it’s critical to check if the usage has been processed correctly within that timing. There could be a delay in generating detailed usage reports depending on when services were consumed vs. when reports are generated.
    3. Export Process: Double-check that you exported the usage file correctly. Sometimes, when exporting data, the filters or settings selected might affect the output. Try exporting it again and see if the result changes.
    4. Unwanted Services: If you have any services running that aren't part of the free plan, this can also affect how the charges are displayed in your usage report. Verify that there are no unintended resources or services that are actively incurring charges.

If you could provide a bit more information, that would be great! Here are some follow-up questions that might help clarify the situation:

    1. Have you used any resources or services that are explicitly excluded from the free trial offerings?
    2. Are you able to access your Azure portal to review the services utilized during the trial period?
    3. Did you experience any issues while exporting the usage file, or did it generate without any errors?
    4. Can you confirm if there are any unexpected charges reflected on your invoice that might give clues to why line items are missing?
