Our printers are saying they are offline. I've tried everything suggested and nothing works. I have Windows 11. It's been automatically updating. If i remove and install my printer, shut off printer and computer and restart it will work for a few minutes then shows it's offline again.

I need printers to work with wireless network. This is a place of business and need to get my printers working.

    Dear Jeff,

Based on what you have described, here are Recommended Steps to Resolve the Issue

    1. Disable "Let Windows manage my default printer" Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners Scroll down and turn off "Let Windows manage my default printer" This prevents Windows from automatically switching printers, which can cause offline status
    2. Set a Static IP Address for the Printer Access your printer’s network settings and assign a static IP address This helps maintain a consistent connection and avoids IP conflicts on the wireless network
    3. Update Printer Drivers Visit the printer manufacturer’s website and download the latest Windows 11-compatible drivers Avoid using generic drivers installed automatically by Windows
    4. Restart Print Spooler Service Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter Locate Print Spooler, right-click, and select Restart Ensure the startup type is set to Automatic
    5. Check Network Stability Ensure your wireless network is stable and that the printer is within range If possible, test with a wired connection to rule out wireless interference
    6. Pause Windows Updates Temporarily Go to Settings > Windows Update > Pause updates This can help isolate whether recent updates are contributing to the issue
