Outlook iOS - New IMAP Account, No Sent Folder

I set up a new work email (IMAP via porkbun domain) on my Outlook for iOS but there is no sent folder, only inbox, drafts and outbox. Sent does not show up as an available folder to add. I had no issues on the Outlook desktop with setup.

If I send an email off of the mobile app it does reach its destination but it remains in the outbox folder on the mobile app. Additionally, it does not show up in my sent items on my desktop. Very strange. Unfortunately I am my own IT person.

I have tried deleting and re-downloading the app to no avail.

Hi Alex and Faery, how are you?

I'm very happy to say that I've found a fix for this problem. In your email account, create a folder named "Sent". After that, Outlook Mobile should display the Sent folder correctly.

The bug still exists, but you can use the app without any problems for now.

    Hi @Alex ,

The issue you’re experiencing with the Outlook app on your iPhone not syncing sent emails to your desktop is a common one. You may try the following to narrow down the issue you are experiencing.

    1. Go to the settings of your iPhone, navigate to Mail > Accounts, select your IMAP account, and ensure that everything is set up correctly, without any authentication prompts. If you see anything that requires reauthorization (like a password prompt), re-enter your credentials.
    2. Sometimes, removing and re-adding the account can resolve synchronization issues. Make sure to re-enter all the server settings accurately.
    3. Make sure that both your Outlook app and iPhone iOS are updated to the latest versions.

Besides, please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on the general Outlook issues, if the issue persists, you can contact support by referring to the website below:
