A draft that I started months ago, the finished version of which has been successfully sent, keeps reappearing in the New Outlook Inbox of my gmail account. This draft does not appear when I go online to my gmail account. It seems to be totally within Outlook. I've tried every method I can think of to delete it, but nothing has worked. Please tell me what steps I can take to get rid of it.

    Hi @Ruth Sigler

I understand how frustrating it is to have an old draft keep reappearing after the completed email was already sent.

Since the draft does not appear in Gmail on the web, it is likely cached within New Outlook. Please try removing and re-adding the Gmail account:

    • In New Outlook, go to Settings > Accounts > Your accounts.
    • Select Manage next to the Gmail account.
    • Select Remove, then choose Remove from this device if prompted.
    • Restart New Outlook and add the Gmail account again.

Removing the account from the device will not delete emails stored in Gmail, but please save any Outlook-only drafts before proceeding.

If the draft still reappears, go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Outlook (new) > Advanced options, select Repair, and then try Reset if Repair does not resolve the issue.
