Reinstall Office 2013 from the Microsoft account originally used to activate it; a previously redeemed product key normally does not need to be entered again.

Reinstall from your Microsoft account

Open Microsoft account Services & subscriptions.
Sign in with the Microsoft account used when Office 2013 was first activated.
Locate Office 2013, then select Install.
Run the downloaded installer.
Open Word or Excel and follow the activation prompts. If prompted to sign in, use the same Microsoft account.

The Office licence should have been associated with that account during its original activation, allowing reinstallation without a CD or re-entering the key.^1^

If Office 2013 is not listed

Try any other Microsoft account that may have been used when the key was first redeemed.
If this is a new, unused retail key, redeem it at https://microsoft365.com/setup, sign in, enter the key, and follow the prompts.^2^
If the key came from an employer, volume-licensing agreement, or business-managed installation, contact the organization’s IT administrator. Those editions may use a different installer and activation method.
Do not download a random Office image until you know the exact edition printed on the key card or purchase receipt—for example, Home and Business 2013, Professional 2013, or Professional Plus 2013. Installation media must match the licensed edition. A Microsoft Q&A answer provides offline media specifically for Office 2013 Professional Retail, but that should be used only if that is your exact edition.^3^

Having the product key is helpful, but the correct installation method depends on the Office 2013 edition and how the license was originally purchased.

First, sign in to Microsoft account Services & subscriptions using the Microsoft account that may have been used when Office was first activated. If Office 2013 appears there, select the available install option. A product key that has already been redeemed normally cannot be used again to create a new license association.

If Office 2013 is not listed, could you confirm the exact edition printed with the key, such as Home & Student 2013, Home & Business 2013, Professional 2013, or Professional Plus 2013? Please also let me know whether the key came from a retail purchase, an employer, or a school, and what message appears when you try to use it. Do not post the product key itself.
