Hello

It sounds like your account might have been hacked and taken over.

I am so sorry this happened. Please fill out the Recover My Account form: https://aka.ms/recovermyaccount

Instruction for each field can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/manage/guidance-notes-for-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form

Contact email: Use an email address you currently have access to. This is where Microsoft can contact you regarding your request.

Response time: A response may take around 5 business days, although this is not guaranteed. Please save this to your safe sender: [email protected]

Date of birth: Pay close attention to the required date format. This is an area where users sometimes make mistakes because it is asking for US date format.

Account information: Provide as much accurate information as possible. If you genuinely don't know an answer, it is better to leave it blank if allowed rather than guess.

Device and location: If possible, complete the form using a computer, Wi-Fi network, and location you normally use to access your account. This may help Microsoft recognize your usual sign-in activity.

============================

Also, to avoid any misunderstanding or false expectations, I'm a community user. I can help you navigate and make sure you are using the right tool/resources, but I don't have access to your account and cannot manually recover or unblock it. The final decision is made by the account security review team, so I cannot guarantee the outcome.

Microsoft Support also cannot bypass the required account verification or reinstatement process.

Lastly, please don't share any passwords, verification codes, or other private account information here, as this is a public forum.

Recover the compromised Microsoft account through Microsoft’s Sign-in Helper and recovery form; the Minecraft Java purchase receipt can support your ownership details, but it is not documented as a way to transfer the game to another account.

    Recover the account

    1. Secure the device first.
On Windows, open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Scan options → Full scan → Scan now. Complete the scan before changing any passwords. ^1^
    2. Open Microsoft’s hacked-account page and start the Sign-in Helper.
Enter the original email address or phone number associated with the account. The helper will provide the applicable recovery options and may offer access to an agent. ^1^
    3. If the original email is reported as nonexistent:
      • Try any other email alias, phone number, or Skype name previously connected to the account.
      • On a Windows PC where the account was used, check Start → Settings → Accounts → Email & accounts for an associated username.
      • Check old Microsoft or Minecraft receipts for the account address. ^2^
      • If Microsoft still says it cannot find the username, use the Contact Support option on the username-recovery page and explain that the sign-in email stopped working after unauthorized access. ^3^
    4. Complete the account recovery form when directed. Use:
      • A working contact email you can currently access.
      • A device and location previously used with the compromised account, if possible.
      • Old passwords and accurate account details.
      • Information about Microsoft, Xbox, Skype, or Outlook services used with the account.
      • Your Minecraft order email, order number, purchase date, and payment details wherever the form provides a relevant field.
Microsoft says the more account-specific information supplied, the better the recovery chance. Results are sent to the working contact address within 24 hours. If verification fails, another request can be submitted, up to two times per day. ^4^

    About the Minecraft Java purchase

The available Microsoft guidance does not state that an order email by itself can restore or move a Minecraft Java entitlement to a new Microsoft account. The immediate objective is therefore to recover the original Microsoft account to which the purchase was attached.

Keep the complete receipt private and provide it only through official Microsoft or Minecraft support channels. Do not post the order number, payment information, email addresses, recovery codes, or screenshots publicly.

Microsoft support agents are subject to account-validation rules and cannot manually send password-reset links or change account details on request. ^4^

    After successful recovery

    Immediately:

    1. Change the password to a new, unique password.
    2. Review recent account activity and mark unauthorized activity as This wasn’t me or select Secure your account. ^5^
    3. Remove unfamiliar aliases, recovery addresses, phone numbers, forwarding rules, and connected accounts.
    4. Add Microsoft Authenticator or another current verification method. ^6^
